Usually Petit Verdot is balancing out our bordeaux-style blends, but this year we decided to let it shine on its own. Medium bodied red, ruby in the glass, fruit-forward with hints of spice.
Crimson purple hue to the rim. The aroma of blackberry cordial cinnamon white pepper and Asian plum greet your nose head-on. Very few wines translate smell to taste just in a different order as the wine evolves. Upfront is red plum with cinnamon spice hinting at forest floor then as the mid palette takes over cinnamon sugar plum and pepper with the blackberry cordial leading the finish.
